Executive Team

Gibran’s background includes working for Rothschild's Asset Management, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and (GNI) Man Group where he helped successfully implement the cross over from open outcry to screen based trading markets. Gibran has worked in Sao Paulo and Zurich as an asset raiser and Boyer Allen in London.
Gibran is highly (social) media savvy. As a spokesperson for the firm he can reach wider audiences to convey the importance of D&I in investing and be an outstanding ambassador of the fund and our firm. He is also responsible for our formal ESG reporting obligations. Gibran’s strong entrepreneurial acumen and powerful marketing dynamics ensures the funds message communicates across all mediums and markets.
More recently in 2016 Gibran has been a policy advisor at the European Parliament in the Economic and Monetary Affairs committee advising on FinTech and Banking regulations. Gibran holds a degree in BSc(Hon) Business Information Technology.





Peter started his career in fund management at Brown Brothers Harriman in New York before coming to London where he joined Warburg and Paribas before achieving an Extel ranking at Schroders in Telecommunications services.
He joined Park Place Capital in 1998 where he was the senior analyst for the TMT sectors and the co-manager of the long/short equity fund, Polaris Prime Europe. In 2001, co-founded and co-managed the Boxwood Double Alpha Fund European equity strategy before rejoining Park Place where he was Managing Partner and Director of Research of the long/short funds, Park Place Europe and Polaris Prime Europe from 2003 to 2013. He and his team were awarded the Mar Hedge Long/Short Euro Equity Specialist Performance award.
Park Place was subsequently acquired by RAB Capital, where he restructured, revived and co-managed the European equity strategy. He also launched and helped grow the RAB Prime Europe UCITS Fund.
In 2014, Peter developed, launched and subsequently managed the Pergam Rising Dividend Fund, a long-only fund focused on dividend growth.
Peter holds a BA from Williams College in the US and has been a lecturer at the SFAF (French Society of Financial Analysts) and Surrey University MBA programs.



taco sieburgh sjoerdsma, CFA


Taco has over three decades experience in research, trading and operations.
Starting his career as a top-rated equity analyst at UBS, he moved to Paribas to become Head of Research in Singapore and then Moscow, before opening the London office for a US global macro hedge fund, followed by working for a large US long/short manager in NY. Going back to London, he became Head of Research at Europe's largest third party marketing firm for hedge funds, and then 9 years as CFO/COO at a frontier hedge fund manager, during which time several other new businesses and funds were acquired and started.
He is the founder of PH7 Hedge Fund Consultants and major supporter of the ideals and ideas of Urban Edge Capital.
Taco has a MBA from the University of Chicago and a Business Economics Degree from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He is Dutch (born in the Caribbean) and speaks a few languages.

Mrs X, CFA


Mrs X is currently a senior research analyst at a top rated climate research firm and will join full-time prior to launch.
She has two decades of experience in equity research and portfolio management, including a focus on ESG as well, using a combination of quantitative and fundamental research methodologies.
Mrs X has previously worked together with some members of the team which ensures a quick transition and a productive working relationship.
Her experience includes a prominent family office and two institutional European investment management firms where she was investment analyst for European equities, fund manager UK equities and interim Head of Risk.
Mrs X grew up in Singapore and gained a Bachelor and Master Degree in Chemical Engineering at two UK Russell Group universities.
